1) Black Jazzmaster with gold pickguard, black pickup covers and a rosewood board would look killer I bet.
2) Dev!!!!!!!!! You found your Junior! That thing looks awesome! How's the neck? Thick thick thick?

I am so excited. I figured I'd be killing a few birds with one stone if I just sucked it up and fronted myself some money and got a Warmoth neck. I'm going to throw the baritone neck on the Jazzy, take the Jazzy's neck and make some sort of monster tele with it. So that'll save me a decent amount of cash in the long run not having to buy another neck!

Here is the neck I went with, its Maple with Indian Rosewood, cream inlays, and has a white Graphtech nut with 6130 frets!

I finally finished hanging all of my guitars, so I took a shot of all of them.

yes. I love my baritone jazzy so much. A couple quick things though, because mine just got a ton more expensive over the last couple weeks. After fighting with the stock bridge and giant strings for what I thought was too long I said fuck it and bought a Mastery. Didn't try mustang saddles, but one thing to keep in mind is that the radius on those Warmoth necks is really flat but they sell one with all the saddles adjustable. Also the stock pickups are fine, but I went ahead and ordered an upgrade: http://curtisnovak.com/pickups/jm-wr.shtml. I'll get a better pic when the pickup comes in, but reposting this one because it's fucking awesome:

I'm also wanting to change the pickguard but don't know which direction to go with that yet. Leaning towards mint at the moment

Yeah, I might end up gettting a Mastery or just a Buzz Stopper. I'll be putting .14 baritone strings on it, so I think that might help a LITTLE bit... We will see. I'm really curious as to what I can do. I'm in love with the pickups though, on the realllllz

I'm using the D'Addario baritone 14s, they're pretty great. Just barely long enough on the highest string. It's a really long way from that jazzmaster tailpiece to the end of the headstock on a baritone neck. Also .068 is huge and I had to do quite a bit of filing on the saddle, but this could very well not be the case with mustang saddles. The pickup and mastery made mine a ton more expensive but I'd been saving towards putting a custom-ish baritone together anyway. I'm with you on the pickups man, just overall it's an insane value for a $300 guitar, I'm just looking for something a little different. I almost want to find another body so I can put the squier back together, it's killing me having a very decent neck just sitting in the closet even though the last thing I need right now is another guitar.

Hahahah yeah I totally feel you. The Jazzmaster neck is going to go onto a Tele project I'm going to start once the Warmoth comes... Don't NEED it, just always wanted a tele hahahah. I'm hoping I won't have to do a ton of filing with the Mustang saddles. I'm going to take it to my local guitar tech and have them look at it first and see what they think is best before I proceed. Hopefully it won't take a lot of work and I can spare one of the bridges from being gnawed down. Either way I'm totally psyched to have a baritone no less a Jazzmaster baritone!!
