Is it real? Or is it modded? cuz a high gain neck pickup and that binding [in all it's awesomeness :thumb: ] don't go together normally.

NBD....WOOT

USA Elrick NJS with a custom ebony ramp made by Rob E.

The birdseye on the neck is ridiculous in person. I need to take some better photos of it.

If I had gear that good looking lying around I think my wife would stop complaining. I always end up with beat to shit bits of old driftwood. That thing is gorgeous. I'd be afraid to be in the same room as it in case I fucked it up.
Good deals done with all these guys

Thanks man. Yeah, it's quite the looker.

This is actually kind of a stepping stone for me.... first bass I've ever owned with a maple neck.
I was always turned off by them visually (stupid and irrational, I know) but I just wanted to get over my OCD about it.

I'm glad I did, cause the playability on this is ridiculous.
The back has some buckle rash, nothing major but overall it's exactly what I wanted to get over my love/hate relationship with my Fender.

FYI GC has been known to sell clones or modded basses because they literally do not know what the fuck they are doing. Be very careful! I purchased a Fender fretless from them and discovered it was a hack job and returned it the next day or so. Fucking idiots.

Finally put the set of Circle Ks on my bass. Didn't bother with setting up or widening the nut slots. Just wanted to get them on there as the old strings were old. I played it for a few on my Pignose G40V which even with a guitar voiced speaker isn't too bad on bass. I'm stoked. Bass hasn't sounded this good since 2007 and I've got a good tension for ADGCF (tuned down a whole step).

No to run it on my stage setup. Fresh strings > Fuzz > SVT-CL = Will be Gizzed mah pants.

Gauges if anyone is wondering: .158 .118 .90 .67 .49.

If these pan out after the honeymoon period I plan on ordering many more so I can keep up on string changes.
