Great suggestion, especially for the synthy stuff.

Interesting. I guess I'm just fishing for suggestions right now. That might not be a bad combo though.

Shit, I might as well just get my bassist to open up an account here...

And I have. :!!!:

So I'm the unnamed bass player snipelfritz was talking about. I'm pretty sure I'm getting the Behringer Bass Synth. A Soda Meiser would be pretty fucking cool too but it looks like they're really hard to find. I don't even know if that would be in my price range anyway.
Does anyone know any decent SM clones or any site that sells them at least?
Thanks for the help, everybody!

if you are looking for an SM Officer Bukowski will hook you up, great dude and does stellar work.

a two knob SM would not be hard to find, for anything you just have to be patient and watch a couple of BST's.

Really for what you are looking for, try and score and used Second Voice.

They rip hard core.

The Second Voice looks pretty cool but with the price and the sounds, I'm kind of set on getting the Behringer Bass Synth.
Do you guys thing a Bass Big Muff Pi would go well with the synth?

The SM is none more bassy. It's got all the low end, plus a little octave up that makes it super thick and can get synthy if you play it a certain way

The Bass Big Muff is butt, just go with a regular muff with or without mods to make it bassier. There are lotsa dudes here who could build you any kind for a good price.
