This forum has pointed me in the direction of many unique and quality pedals/builders I never would have found before so thanks everyone! It's really been a great resource for me in the past year or so! I also like Calvin and Hobbes
Well, at least three of us read it, so there you go. Success!
And welcome!

I don't think he's read our "we read your post" posts.
If a post replies to a post in a forest and nobody posts a reply, did the post ever really post?
Dude. I need more coffee. SERIOUSLY.

I just didn't feel like a "welcome, don't be an asshole". And Bassus seems to be slacking on his welcoming.

Hello! I just joined I <3 Fuzz today. I've been playing the guitar about 12 years now, and I've been using / collecting effect pedals for most of those. I'm a contributing member on a couple other boards, but I wanted to get involved over here too.

Re: = Introduce Yourself =
Sup dooders.
I just recently realized that I love fuzz. I had been using a 70s MXR Distortion+ as my main 'dirt box' for...uh..10 years, often stacked with a DS-1 and some other stuff. Recently I decided I would like to be able to play clean, straight into the amp too. Not friggin possible with the MXR because it adds an insane amount of high end, which means the EQ on my amp has to compensate. With no way to switch back and forth between between clean and dirty with the MXR quickly, it got the boot.
So I got to shopping and after watching about 10,000 overdrive/distortion/fuzz videos online, I realized that I'm more of a fuzz guy. News to me.
I've got a '65 Fender Showman amp and a recently acquired '98 all mahogany Gibson Les Paul from their custom shop, replacing the SG Faded that was my one and only guitar since I graduated high school 10 years ago.
I kick out the stoney blues, some country blues style noodly licks and desert rock / stoner metal riffs. I hear word that doom is fashionable now? Well I've been doing it for a long time now and found it the old fashion way, so don't pin any Urban Outfitters imagery on me, good sir.
Thanks for populating this place.
