Are overdrives cool in a feedback loop?

I always prefer a FUZZ with a feedback loop stomp than a feedback loop pedal.

Can't really generalize when it comes to pedals in a feedback loop.
But in my experience, dirt pedals tend to just self-oscillate, METALZ DISTORTIN' style pedals are the most "precise" and boring-sounding to me. They are lasers.

Not safe to generalize any type of effect in a feedback loop. I have had lots of fun with a Danelectro Pastrami Overdrive and MXR Classic Overdrive in a feedback loops. Nice oscillating fuzz tones, but not over the top so they were useable. However other overdrives just provided oscillation with not much control over how much guitar came through.
