I need to get a pro iron one of these days. You know, one of those pro shits with the giant base it rests in and all and costs more than $7 haha

It's definitely worth it to spend a bit more money on a soldering station. My first two pencil irons burnt out before I even got a pedal working. Once I got a station (only $30 mind you) everything became so much easier and more efficient. Plus it will save you money in the long run. :thumb:

dudes. Get one. FOR REAL. Once you use an actual, professional soldering station you'll be dumbfounded as to why you had never used one before. It is AMAZING. I use a Weller WES51 and it's awesome, have had great success with a Weller WTCPT as well. GET. ONE. Those 'shack one's are one-time throwaways as far as I'm concerned. Check out ebay for used ones. And yeah, there are definitely other ones that are also top-notch and cheaper. DO IT.

Yeah I was expecting some sort of altercation; kinda glad it was avoided- but a little dissapointed at the level of accountability
