..... but i'm a little weird about family. i truly don't care if somebody's related to me. it matters if i know the person, not if we share some ephemeral bloodline connection. i care WAY more about friends than i do some family member i may barely know.

My opinion:

I say do your best to get in contact with the cousin. If you can't directly talk to him, leave him a message. Tell him you have a moving deadline and that you need him to pick up the amp/cab before that day. Also tell him that if he (or someone on his behalf) can't make the date or if you don't hear from him, you will sell the amp/cab and hold half the cash for him.

He can't get too mad if he gets some cash out of it. I mean, nigga lef that shit at yo crib for like 2 years, and shit.
