I've been having so much fun building this week. It's been such a long time since I've gotten to build this much because of school

Ok, question for you builders.....
When tightening footswitches and jacks, do you use a socket wrench that has a little rubber gasket on the end to prevent scratching the enclosure?
What do you use to hold the other side of the part to keep from turning?

The washers on the foot switches and jacks keep my socket wrench from scratching the finish.
I just hold the jacks and switches from the back with one hand while I wrench with my other.

Gotcha.
I guess I was curious about the pedals that don't have the thick washers to protect it?
I know when I visited the Fodera shop, they had special socket wrenches with little felt pads on the end to keep from the scratching the 10K basses

I've just used pliers and tried to be really careful. I commend those special tools of the gods. I should probably get one of those wrenches

I'm going to take it all apart and redo the wiring 'cause the messiness is driving me crazy, but I wanted to get a couple pics while it was in one piece. Echo base:
Has two effects loops (going to be trimmed down to one) and all the mods from the documentation. Momentary oscillation, on/off and LFO toggle switches. Also a magical slow color changing LED.

That finish is so badass.
How/what did you do to achieve it?

Here are two more shots. Realized I seriously need a master volume on the Gloom Drive side because it is impossible to NOT feel like its going to blow up my amp with how loud it is.
