Dude. The Reflex was the best bass I've EVER played. Granted I haven't played every bass made, but the Reflex is an even more versatile Reflex. What is not to love? There is essentially almost any tonal option you could want out of a bass.

If you like the way the actual instrument plays and sounds then cool :thumb: I love MM but... and yes I have watched just about every game changer vid there is.. most of what it does no one but you will ever notice.. I have a bass I wired up that will do 12 different coil combos so I like the idea of it... it is fun to mess with that type of thing.. I just wish it was stand alone...

I watched them too, besides all of them having their heads planted right up Sterling's ass its a cool bass.

I have problems using all of the tones in my G&L's let alone the 9 bajillion that this bass can do.

So I had a custom bone nut made for my Wick. Dunno if I posted that yet or not. Sure it's not adjustable...like that is important (WTF feature anyway), but it sounds AWESOME. I want to fuck my Warwick in it's input jack, but it's too tiny. I need a shrink ray to fit my cock in there. Ok. I'm flattering myself. The jack is too big. :(

I'm a big fan of oddball 70's Japanese stuff including basses.

The Columbus Jazz copy is my first bass. Got it from a car boot sale when I was 12. Built like a tank.
Indestructable.
The cherry LP copy on the right is my favourite bass. Not sure who the manufacturer is, can't find any information on it anywhere. Sounds great though.
Between what is possibly a semi hollow body and all the switching for the pickups, it's a great bass with heaps of tonal range. The theory is that it's a Kasuga.
Love it.

Got the Electrical Guitar Company Travis Bean replica pickup in the mail on Monday and installed it into my other bass. This is a Johnson bass, it's a Jazz Bass copy, was actually my first bass I got about 6-7 years ago. Opened up the pickup cover, gutted the electronics, actually didn't have to do any routing to the body to get the pickup in. Only shitty part is that the pickup only mounts from behind, so I drilled two small holes for the pickup to mount to the body. The pickup heads don't quite match up to the strings, but I've got the pickup raised enough that it's barely noticeable when playing. Sprayed the pick guard tonight and actually kind of dig it. Just a single volume and tone for the pickup. It's really bright sounding and jingly, which is a really great upgrade from the stock pickups. I usually dial it in with about 3/4 of the tone rolled off.
