BOTCHAMANIA!

I wanted to post this for any friends that used to watch or currently watch WRASSLIN'!

I haven't watched any of it since like 2001 or so (whenever WCW folded), but Botchamania reminds me of all the reasons I used to get so into it. :picard:

Anyway... it's a collection of wrasslin' botches and fuck-ups, all edited together expertly with added video game soundtracks. Sounds dumb, but the author, Maffew, is a brilliant guy with a superb grasp on pop culture, cinema, video games, and, uh, professional wrestling.

We need a "Cornette face" smiley on this board.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Never watched botchamania, but will now. In a very broad stroke, I know a thing or two about pro wrestling. Ah who am I kidding. I know WAY TOO MUCH about it. Fack!

On that topic, read "Death of WCW" by Bryan Alvarez and RD Reynolds. Sometimes when you read a history of anything that you're interested in, you go crazy when you see the inaccuracies, but I can say with confidence that they got it all right, down to the detail. A trip down memory lame.

Goddamn, CZW is some rad shit! I thought I was done with wrasslin' after Vincebus Eruptum bought ECW. But those fucking Tournaments of Death are teh bR00tZ! I personally have loved the wrasslin' since the days of Tommy "Wildfire" Rich and Bruiser Brody (sorta dating myself there)
