Yeah man. I was looking for some info on how to make a simple buffered clean blend and I had a [simple] idea for how to wire it into the pedal. Basically just putting it after the delay circuit completely.

Ok well take this for example

And wire the send and return to the in and out of the Cave Dweller PCB, then wire the in and out of the blend to the switch.

What do you think?

Yep, that'd work just fine, that's about what most clean blends look like anyways :D

Cool! I'm gonna keep this one the way it is, but if I make another one I'll add a mix.

What's your mod gonna be? Or is it top secret

nothing too serious haha. Going to use a 4DPT to toggle between two delay times. I think I might add the mix knob now cause I know Excane plays bass, and I'd like to add it to mine too!

Wouldn't you just need a 3PDT for that? (assuming you're switching between two pots)

Will do! I figured you'd want it, and it seems like THAT is the only thing left to make it a perfect circuit

If you want the perfect circuit version of it make an Echo Base

But yeah the Cave Dweller ROCKS and you can put it in a small box

Officer Bukowski wrote:Madbean Cave Dweller! Thanks to Skullservant for the mod ideas! I modded it to have a super long delay time possible. Frankly too long for the chip to handle so it gets all lofi and fucked up sounding. Also added a momentary switch for infinite repeats. This thing does some gnarly oscillations!

All mounted in a horizontal 1590b with top mounted jacks to be as pedalboard friendly as I could make it with the features that I wanted.

This is damn cool!!!!

Very tempted to try build one myself now. Can you give a little more info on how you rigged up the infinite repeats stomp switch? Oh and also the extra long delay time mod :)

The feedback switch dimes the repeat knob so that it starts to heavily oscillate--- and the delay time mod is just a larger potentiometer for the delay time knob so it can get even more crazy

Nice one, thanks :)

With the Feedback switch, if I understand you right, the switch is just attached to 2 of the terminals on the actual pot itself?

Definitely thinking of building one of these now.
