Please sir to dumbing it down a much as humanly possible. I mean use very small words and talk very slow. :erm:

Seriously though. I was concerned mostly about the nut not being tall enough to fit the Warwick. Have you used one of those on a Warwick? If so I'm so buying one. I just need to make sure before I buy.

No. I don't play wicks. If it is too small well then you are screwed.. unless you shim and that is tacky. But.. nuts are easy[ish] to make.. first.. measure all the dimensions of you old nut, then see if anything fits and if not sure call/email the seller if you have files for the slots. Any luthier "should" be able to make you a brass nut... I have a hard time believing that a custom one would not be less then that.. but I could be wrong

Mighty mite neck, squier body, wilkinson hardware (the bridge is actually really nice, tuners are meh though), EMG alnico active pickups (I like these more then I thought I would, these plus a super fuzz = ultimate velcro, and these + low gain BMP = synth lead tones), tuned BEAD. :animal:

So the internet is no use for this apparently. It's either A) I fork over 90 bucks for the nut I want or B) I pay a luthier 70+ for a custom made one. LOL! What the fuck Warwick! Fucking German bastards. lol

Go with the $70 and have a luthier make you a custom one.

After it's all finished, fuck his sister. It's a wash and everybody wins :joy:

Thanks my friend! Plays and sounds like a dream too!!!

Yes it is!!!! It has metal flake in it too which is hard to get a picture of. The awsomest part is rolling the tone all the way brings out the old school dub bass tones, perfect to match the mary jane green.

Talked to a luthier today. He's going to cut me a bone one. I think it will be better in the long run. The nut will last for fucking ever too.

Also I played a fretless Warwick Corvette today in GC. OMG it sounded so fucking good! I haven't really been the greatest fan of frettless but I did really fucking good on it. It did not have lines, but had dots. That was way more than enough for me. The muscle memory kicked in and I hit all the notes pretty precisely for not being that used to fretless. SOOO that means I now need a fretless bass. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....someone buy my goddamn Eden head. FUCK!

Hell yeah, fretless is awesome. :joy: I've always been torn on wicks. I never liked the feel or playability, but some of the best tonez I've heard on record have come from them.

If I had the cash, I wouldn't mind adding that Eden to my arsenal but I'm good in the Mesa dept. :)*

Just got the pickup rings I ordered for my 450b in the mail today. The tortoise shell finish looks horrible so I flipped them over to the black side and they look nice and clean. Now I finally have a place to rest my thumb!
