Here's a short clip of that MKII I built a little while ago. I recorded it with my iPhone and tiny solid state practice amp so it normally sounds better but this gives you a rough idea I guess

(btw my phone keeps cutting my videos off cause its out of memory or something >:0)

Sound great, what is the third knob, bias, tone or clipping?

Thanks! It's a bias control for Q3. I have it set for what sounds like a "proper" bias to me in this clip

I really want to start building but I'd have no idea where to start. Maybe a BYOC boost or something? Do they ship to the UK?

Do you already have a soldering iron and all of the other tools you need to start?
BYOC has the best documentation so for your first pedal (As well as mine) it is (was, for me) nice to have such explicit directions. I don't knwo if they hip internationally or not, I'm sure they would though.

Yeah I've already got a solder iron etc, I took technology in school so I bought one ages ago to practice soldering and stuff. I'll check out BYOC and the vibe-o-tronic, cheers!

Effector 13 Soda Meiser with chaos switch that I built for my bassist. He doesn't own any other pedals so I went crazy with the drilling.

Thanks! I used the white plastic washers from 3PDTs on the pots to keep the knobs from sticking out all ugly-like.
I'll be a little smarter about how I do the jacks next time though.

Madbean Cave Dweller! Thanks to Skullservant for the mod ideas! I modded it to have a super long delay time possible. Frankly too long for the chip to handle so it gets all lofi and fucked up sounding. Also added a momentary switch for infinite repeats. This thing does some gnarly oscillations!

All mounted in a horizontal 1590b with top mounted jacks to be as pedalboard friendly as I could make it with the features that I wanted.
