Nice! That did look promising. Unfortunately I've been working Sunday nights so I haven't been able to catch it. Looks very much along the lines of Check It Out! except with a much more deadpan host. And I only caught the first episode of Loiter Squad and part of another. It may have gotten better. It had plenty of room for improvement but wasn't all bad. I remember hating Tosh.0 when it came out then feeling like it got drastically better once he put more of his comedic persona into it.

i don't usually watch tv, but certain adult swim shows and cartoon network shows i make strong exceptions for. (gumball, anyone?)
i like parts of loiter squad. some skits are fucking hilarious. i mean, it comes out of the same house that did jackass and i think that's pretty obvious at times. i haaaaaaate tosh.0 though.
watch the eric andre show when you can! i haven't seen check it out, but this show will surprise you, no matter what your expectations are.

I pretty much worship Adult Swim. Eric Andre show looks great, I'll definitely check it out now.
The thing about Loiter Squad was that it seems to blur the line between prank show and sketch comedy in a very non-deliberate, unpolished way that simply takes at least one quality comedian to pull off (Johnny Knoxville was Jackass's one actually talented performer, but they were still just a prank show). For some reason I really liked the idea of a skit about a dentist with no arms, and the fact that he insisted he was a great dentist, but then when the guy couldn't deal with having feet in his mouth and that turned out to be the punch-line it just seemed completely amateurish. I love and have a great appreciation for surreal comedy (what many would call "random"), but contrary to popular belief, it does take some tact to pull it off well. That and Odd Future in general just remind me too much of a bunch of spoiled, small-town asshats who think they are a lot cooler than they really are.
