The stupidity/dumb-ass mistakes thread

So at the bar i work at theres a key for the basement, its hung up in the kitchen. we close the basement then hang up the key back in the kitchen at the end of the night. but my dumbass was holding the key as i said to the bar back of the night "everything's taken care of? everythings closed and cleaned?" then shut the self locking back door thus locking the bar for the night as i held the basement key.

so who else has some facepalming, feel like a dumbass, what an idiot, type stories that have recently occured to them

Last week I was in a business meeting giving a Powerpoint presentation to my boss and a few other associates.
We normally have these in our small conference room, where I access my computer over the network.

....A notification popped up in the middle of my presentation reminding me that I needed to renew my pornhub subscription.
