a Digital Delay that has a stomp switch for both parallel effect+bypass, and a feedback loop with a compressor built in, to prevent volume overload, and an expression pedal for the delay time.

Re: What's your dream pedal?
I wish Strymon would take Ice, Filter, Reverse, Swell, Ducking, Pattern, Dual, and regular Digital delay off of the TL and put it in a smaller pedal, keep Midi in/out, and fave/controller pedal, and have memory for 30 user patches.
That would be all that I need for delay.

Well, in the case of that Os Mutantes song, it's a homemade effect built from a sewing machine.
Since the Voice of the Seven Woods effect sounds very similar, it's possible that he built his own version. If not, I'd be interested in how he got that sound as well.

With maybe a couple knobs to tweak a couple more parameters on each patch. I would seriously pay like 500 bucks for that pedal. I'm not kidding. Fuck, I basically paid 300 for my XP-1000, and I spend 95% of the time I'm using it petrified that it's going to break/meltdown and then I'm fucked.

I've only ever tried the caracol and molecule. Got lucky with his tourboxes. For the recommended purpose, I'd say start with the molecule, then maybe one of his ring mods or the dubscope. I'm sure he would do something custom if those don't seem right for you.

Re: What's your dream pedal?
Thanks for the advice. I'll listen again to some of those CoPilot demos. I haven't really thought about 'em in a while.
