The FAT knob changes the bass signal into the fuzz which makes the tone thicker.
This works to make for a fuller FF sound. When you dial it back the tone gains clarity
and seemingly more midrange, a tighter more overdrive/fuzz rock sound that plays better with
a dirty amp or stacking pedals, basically to cut through more with less sloppy low end (when you need that).
