Did that help with the terrible buzzing? Also, could you point me to the exact bridge you bought?

Can anyone define the sound of a mustang guitar pickup?
Like Mustang is X vs a strat pickup or lipstick.

Yep, like a Strat but thinner. The same applies to Jaguar pickups, but they have more jangle to my ears than Mustang pups.

Keep in mind, the shorter scale will play into it too. :hello:

My drummer managed to ding the headstock within five seconds of holding the guitar. Don't let drummers hold guitars.

Whatever. Adds character. A little cosmetic "damage" never hurt.

best picture i could get with my 4 year old camera
just got this about a month ago and am really loving it. I've had a problem with the bridge and saddles lowering themselves while I'm playing, but from what i've read this is normal, right?

I think I've read about people using nail polish or something on the screw threads to keep them from moving around. You could probably use loc-tite or whatever, as long as you don't use the super ultra permanent kind.

Achtane outlined the usual fixes that most people do, you can also swap out the bridge for a mustang bridge, which is what I did with my MIJ jazzmaster, which will totally eliminate that particular problem.

This is my first post here, but I thought I would show my love for the offsets.

Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster. Sounds excellent, definitely my favorite guitar to play.

SX SJM. Modded and repainted from the original hardtail, sunburst, dual P90 body.
The pickup wiring is ugly as can be, but it works and haz toanz. That's all that matters, right? :p

My old drummer gave my pristine les paul buckle rash to the extreme the first time i let him play it. I am still slightly upset about it even though i never brought it up.

BlindToFaith's old CP Jag. Switched the pickguard and pickup covers and had it set up real nice. Stone fox. Black panther.

Damn, that looks good Kosta. Makes me think of replacing my mint green pickguard with a black one.. Also, assuming TotallyWired Guitars did that set up, it should play killer.. like mine does. What pickups did you put in there?
