Diablo 3...

Post by Seizurema »

Is it even worth doing maan? :idk:

I have like a girlfriend, and expensive gear, and like dreams of the future. I barely made it out of D2 a functioning human...

I haven't had any issues with it working, but if you do actually have problems with gaming compulsion, why even ask? If it actually causes lifestyle difficulties then don't do it. I wouldn't give a smack addict a "little bit" of heroin.

^ pffffft pffffffffffffffffffffft. pssshhh. pfffhsht.

But yeah I'm hearing bad things about it. Besides the supermassive lag, which seems to be the main complaint.

Did you play the beta?
Because based off that, and Blizzard's greedy scheme in general, I can't think of a single reason to play D3 over D2 other than it's new.

Haven't had any lag or connection issues since launch day.

It's far superior to D2.

Meh. If this was ten years ago I'd be into it. Too little, too late. Fuck Blizzard anyway. Greedy ass clowns and their MMORPG's.

It does seem like a bit of a money grab. Oh Blizzard...

This is asked without any knowlege or sarcasm whatsoever; How does D3 seem like a cash grab? Isn't it just an initial purchase of the game itself? (despite the always online requirement)

From what I've heard you can buy and sell currency etc. soon, apparently to cut out the gold selling sites like what happened in WoW. They're taking a hell of a cut out of that cash when they implement it.

Oh. But it's not something you have to do? I would rather just collect equipment and money from playing the game. Is that still part of it?

I don't have much interest in competitive multiplayer; 80% of my Diablo 2 time I spent single player, the rest of the time was on a LAN with just one or two friends.

I'm just basing this off second hand info but you're not required to purchase gold or anything. Apparently the gold will be sold through blizzard but farmed by players. Not 100% sure on everything, I quit playing games a few years ago so I'm just basing it on a friend that plays it.

I think so, someone who actually plays and knows mote about it would be able to confirm it.
