I saw Aen's TGD demo, pooped my pants, bought one from Fuzzhugger.com, then followed the forum link.

Actually, you know what, it very well may have been that same exact post that mariachi made on Talkbass that made me find it as well. Although, I wasn't totally sold until I saw Aen's demo of the Devi Bit. I immediately thought that it was the coolest pedal demo I'd ever seen.

I think I found fuzzhugger.com while looking for some Dwarfcraft and/or Devi stuff, and went from there..... Also, I'll just mention, if anyone cares, that I wouldn't have gotten into fuzz if it weren't for pictures of Boris' pedalboards and wondering what the hell the big pedal with the blue crow on it was.......

Devi asked me if I wanted to start a website called ilovefuzz, I did a quick logo and header, then decided I didn't really have the time to commit. I joined when it got fired up, then disappeared for years

gosh, no. i started out on what at the time was the semi-official Grateful Dead forum--which is maintained by Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, divorced from the GD organization in the early 00s, and now exists as in independent site--in 1997. i had people internet-harassing me when 4chan was just a twinkle in some troll's father's eye. i currently exist under different noms du keyboard there, here, and on the Gretsch Pages, all of which are very different communities but which share the charming personableness common to people who love something creative so much that it makes them happy rather than stupid and who've collectively decided they want a positive environment.

I've always loved variety, and my playing has been no different. I love expanding my tonal options with pedals. I'm looking to get into making some rudimentary builds of my own, and I mentioned this to my high-school friend Psyre. He pointed me here as a great source for all things stompbox.

I asked Tom for some delay advice after I bought my Algal Bloom, and he told me to ask around on ILF. I've been here ever since

Re: how did you find i<3fuzz?
Someone was selling some awesome pedals that I'd never heard of on TalkBass and ILF was mentioned as being down in this thread. I figured ILF had to be pretty cool if the dudes there were buying these pedals, so I looked it up every once in a while until it came back online. My figuring was correct.
Tried to find the thread for the lulz, and here it is: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f213/foxr ... sp-729510/

I generally have lurked at forums because I just don't have much to say, but ILF brings out the worst in me and I actually post stuff. And sometimes people post stuff back. Which makes me feel all fuzzy. Haha.

Re: how did you find i<3fuzz?
I was googl'ing pedals with cool paint jobs and I saw what I later found out to be a 6-knob AB-synth. I traced it to fuzzhugger.com and that led me here. Shit, that was almost a year ago. I should contribute more. Before that I was on talkbass for a while.
THIS IS THAT VERY PEDAL

Whoever got this should be proud.
