I love and hate it at the same time... I like the new character and the animation a lot but.. I have watched the original so many times that when the story is changed I have a hard time excepting it.. so I don't know it is is better, worse or the same as the original..

yeah.. but... they kept a lot of key scenes the same.. that is where I get.. because I have read some of the manga [2 of the series] so I know about the parallel story element to Evangelion.. but... the just popping in old scenes was a bit clunky the way they did it.. to me..

Oh, i know about that. I din't know that they changed so much that there was a new character. I thought it was mainly a new cut/remaster/etc.

This is why I have not watched the originals since Rebuild was announced and will not watch Rebuild until all 4 are released. Hopefully that will prevent me from freaking out whenever there's a change, however little.
