Mine's a Swiss Gear, but I don't have any reason to pick that over something else. It was just made well and not super expensive. Good zippers and stitching and such. I had another one that lasted like 10 years, first through school, then as a bag to... carry stuff.

So yeah.

Just get anything that seems to have good zippers and stitching. And the pockets you want. :idk:

I was issued an Alice Pack, plain green with lots of room for stuff.

Course you all got those neat “My Little Pony, Powder Puff Girls, Dora” things with bright colors and sparkles.

I’m jealous

I got a few Crumplers from Oz a decade ago, and they still look like they're new ... except the new ones are crap and made in China.

Comfortable, could be a bit more waterproof considering the local weather but I've had it for a decade and shows little sign of wear.

I use the previous version of this backpack. They're crazy comfortable and are indestructible, I've had mine for over four years now and it's not showing any wear.

I can't believe they're so expensive now. Last time I looked at them they were about $100 cheaper.

In high school I just carried a folder but one day I went to an ROP class and there was a backpack at my seat so being the asshole that I am I threw away the contents and kept it and that's the backpack that I use. It's a blue jansport.

Just a janspot. I keep meaning to get a big ol' camping bag for summer festivals, I could carry all my beer and crap in it and hopefully not break my back on the walk in.

I had an Ogio for like three years, and it's still going strong, but I bought this Dakine backpack because it has a laptop sleeve, and just a big dump pouch as the main section, which is awesome for general stuff (sweatshirt, sketchpads, pens/pencils, camera, illicit narcotics, bringing shit to practice, etc.
So this turned into another devi thread...

I use an old German backpack I snagged at a surplus store at least ten years ago.

I bought an iPack (complete with gen 1 iPod shuffle holder) in 7th grade and I still use it everyday. It even has padding for my laptop. Pretty sweet deal. I wrote "backpack" on it.
