That thing looks sexy! Are you going to leave that neck on there or are you going to replace it? I would say needs matching headstock, but anything not black would maybe look prettier? :idk:

you could just do a overlay on the headstock with some thin green plastic with adhesive backing. folks on the Gretsch forum do it all the time to disguise their Electromatic models' low-end origins by hiding the headstock logos. you could then logo the headstock however you want.

i think i wouldn't have the balls to rock that out live - but Mud, you must even cooler than i thought :thumb:

 well as I don't play guitar live... but if I did oh I would... and I intend to put a led[s] in it :p But hey to me this in this color is the most anime looking guitar there is... so I'm totally cool with rocking it... in a nerbesquelike way

I have thought of doing that...
I'm still not sure about this neck on here...where the neck sits in the body makes it feel short to be [hey I'm tall... most guitars feel small to me..] and with the about of lows the guitar has I am really thing it needs to be a bari.. [read I have been on a lucite kick for a while due to Eagle twin  ] and am really thinking on either putting my "mudfuzzed bassVI"'s [you guys named the thing that :idk: ] neck on it... or get another neck.. If I was to do what I really wanted I'd get a graphite neck but they just cost too much... anyway the tone control is going to get X-ed today..

if it's got that much bottom it'd be a BEAST to put like .009s or .008s on and play with a metric fuckton of stacked fuzz.

9s are the teensiest strings ever. I need 11s to even feel the guitar underneath my fingers.

I use 9s and bend like crazy. Not really a tuning issue ever. Weird.

Big hands use to bass strings, I bend them just by pressing down :idk:

Got back from practice last week, I could tell it was a good one because all of my strings were kinked as shit from pressing down so hard haha

You get the T-60 set up and rocking?

Muddy that green dream is f'n amazing! ESP necks are pretty great if you ask me. Nice fat fret wire on that one?

Yeah dude! It's in action and sounds killer. Still trying to get used to having so many damn options for pickup sounds out of it, but it is so versatile. Heavy, but I'll get used to it. I wish I wasn't so busy so that I could actually sit down with it for a while. I retired my Squier Strat which is the one where the strings got all fucked, along with my Dean Vendetta. So now only this and a Fender Jag I picked up last night!

Yeah they are. Thing is I kind'a actually stole that neck from one of my other guitars  I wanted to see what it sounded like... so when I get the dano neck I ordered I can put my green flying V back together    The more I play it though the more I notice it is not wood... some things it does really good and others not... like it has nice jangle and is really clear but you can't do picking harmonics to save your life.. also it is amazingly easy to get black flag sounds from it... so yeah I think as a bari/bassVI it'll work actually better then as a "normal" guitar
