sister,evol,daydream nation etc etc . I took them for granted when they were around playing that kind of stuff and never saw them live when I has lots o chances. FUCK! :?: :evil:

I was not a fan of the Rourke years but I still think Rather Ripped/The Eternal are pretty excellent.

hell yeah. Confusion is sex is the sex and it sucks that thurston and kim are seperated. Is it the end of sonic youth and the start of more lame thurston solo records? I want some sister and teenage riot now!And yeah, dydream and goo are "old shit" and fucking awesome.

I stroked Thurston's Jazzy and bit his sneaker when I saw them. And perhaps foolishly leaned against a massive loudspeaker at the front of the stage. The whole show was like being in a feedback-generated vortex :love:

That was my experience, too.

Thurston also scaled a massive wall of PA speakers, dragging his guitar across it. Not to be outdone, Lee threw his into the crowd, where it was subsequently stripped of all its strings (while plugged in).

And if they didn't play Eric's Trip, my brain has gone back and rewired it so I think they did. Awesome gig.
