Because there's nothing north of here all the way up to, like, Eugene, and no one who isn't already in LA wants to go there if they can avoid it.

Seriously fuck Los Angeles. I can't make that point emphatically enough.

I wish I had the time and money head down to the BA I miss the place so  But I'm kind'a in-between Seattle and Portland and right now I just have too much shit going on to even think of a trip :grumpy:

And I agree about LA...

I think the bay wouldn't be bad, central enough. Always looking for an excuse to go.

we did a TB GTG thing in Oakland at SoundWave in their big room. i know the owner so he rented it for a hundy for the day. place was PLENTY big. think there was about 25 or 30 people there? with spots for like 10 or so amp/pedalboard setups.

i'd be down for something like that

with a few people it wouldn't be expensive to hang around and shoot the pedal shit :)

The only time I've felt any affection for LA was in The Big Lebowski, and then only sorta a morbid fascination. Like watching a trainwreck.

And then I end up there in meatspace and I feel like I'm being digested. Stomach acid and shit.
