It is painting the creative humorous output of a whole nation with a pretty broad brush. I think the British are capable of quite a bit more range than that. I am not a fan of Mr. Bean or Benny Hill but I would not reject all of British comedy as a result.

Noel Fielding has a new comedy series coming out next Thursday called Noel Fieldings Luxury Comedy for those interested, it looks rather Booshy.

Since my screen name is a indirect reference to the Boosh, you can probably guess which side of Boosh-love I come down on.

Around Casa de Fossil, the family will often quote the Wind when we are unhappy with one another:

Watched "Tundra" last night while bashing out an improvised soundtrack on the drums. Oh, the magic of closed ear headphones.

The legend of Old Gregg is pretty singular. Referencing it has become colloquial. I mean, shit. This is as close as you can get to motherfuckin' Bailey's without gettin' motherfuckin' wet, son. :)

The humour and music of the Boosh is some of my favourite stuff ever, I really love it. (All British comedy really, geeez Brits know funny)

You guys watch the live dvds too? They put on really cool live shows, the Future Sailors one has tons of live music.. Howard is awesome on guitar!

At the risk of stating the obvious, all the music in the show comes from those two dudes.

The amount of creative control they had over those three seasons was absolutely staggering in comparison to the way other shows on this side of the Atlantic are structured.
good deals are here.

I think they had control because of the channel, it showed on BBC3 which is like a channel for flagship shows, they give a lot more creative control from what I can see and are also not afraid to show edgier stuff because it's slightly shoved out the way so people that pay TV licenses wont complain.
