According to the law of mojo, since the Jen Fuzz & Sustain is biggest, it should be best, right? Or is that an optical illusion?

You're doing it wrong, clearly the green muff is the best, it has the most scuffs and scratches.

Anybody know if these ones are any good? Is it really a muff? I do like the Ehx germanium OD, and the price is tempting, but I've never heard any feedback on them or gotten a chance to play one.

I tried one when they had it at my local gear store. It was ok, not really what I'd call a muff, though. If someone wanted a dist/overdrive combo and weren't sure what they wanted I don't think you could go wrong with it. It was pretty versatile but I didn't get anything overly wild or 'good' sounding out of it. It wasn't a bad pedal, i just didn't get a good impression from it. I'd say it's worth trying out if you're looking for a different slightly muffish fuzz.

FS36999s all the way around, I think. Q2 is unmarked, but looks the same as the others.

I'm not so much into Muffs, but there's something about this one with the right amp, guitar, and sometimes even pick that gives me goosebumps. Last time I alllmost sold it was to Fuzz Box Girl, and while we were negotiating I played through it a few times and just couldn't let it go.
what trannies and what cap values?

This is my nearest and dearest, been modded for DC in, flat mids and true bypass. Don't care about resale value as there's no chance I'm ever going to sell it and I got it a couple years ago for only €60.

Also have a first edition Bubble Font Black Sovtek, two small box black ones and a bunch of clones/derivatives that I've made.
Would like to some day own an actual Civil War Muff especially in one of the odd colour schemes and hopefully someone will give me a broken NYC that I can rebuild to RAM or Triangle specs or two so I can do both.

It's more of an expansion of the Germanium OD into Muff territory. Definitely fun to play with. My bandmate has one, only complaint he has is it's easy to get each side to sound good by itself, but difficult to get them to sound good together.
