If I want to watch hockey I have to pay for cable, though.
Also, PATS ALL DAY ERR DAY
NBC is starting to carry a lot more NHL games,...Sundays seems to be gameday but;...Uh,....yeah,...having to pay for cable is a boner killer, especially when you consider that aside from hockey and a few shows that I might be interested in,...it's pretty much a wasteland....and to be honest,...even if you did have cable,...if you live in a non hockey market or you live far away from the team you follow you are gonna have a hard time BUT,.....
I haven't missed a single Flyers game all season,...and I don't have cable,...or a TV for that matter,...and I live like 3000 miles away from the home market.

I love being a pirate.
In the past I've paid $20 a month (in addition to paying for digital cable) for NHL Center Ice which is the cable package,...and they blacked out a couple too many games for me to be satisfied,...but of course having cable meant I had Vs and NHLN to catch those games.
After I realized how much $$$ I was wasting on paying for cable,....I cut the cord and went to an Online streaming service called NHL Gamecenter. Same blackout restrictions except this time I had no way of watching those games that were blacked out. So as a form of protest,...I stopped paying for any of it. Also considering that my work schedule requires me to be at work when the games are being played,....torrenting hockey games is really the only option for me. I'd love to support the league,...but they don't make it very easy for me to give them money.
