That being said, there are a lot of extremely talented artists out there. It's really a shame that this is where they use it.
I would agree entirely, except for one thing - and I suppose this depends where you live. There are some beat to shit areas that good graffiti actually makes look better than it would otherwise. Where if there wasn't that it would be this filthy, crumbling, eyesore.
Also, watch those vids I posted above about reverse graffiti. The art and tagging is done by cleaning surfaces as opposed to painting on them. Very cool.
