The only thing that sux is, she loves me back, but we love eachother so fucking much, she's scared of it, and we're having a long-distance relationship even though we live in the same town. I'm sick of waiting, should I ragequit? :/
Nothing is a sure thing. She won't know how it will turn out unless you both give it a shot. Sure, it's scary and a risk, but you gotta take risks sometime, right?
This is basically what my current girlfriend told me when we were getting together, and it definitly convinced me to go for it. Good food for thought, I think.

you should always get used to an instrument before you start modding it. they have their own personalities. sometimes they need mods, sometimes they're just fine the way they are.

FIFTY YEARS OF SCARING THE CHILDREN 1970-2020--and i'm not done yet
after taking weeks to get used to my friend Dan living with us, my kitty finally curled up with me at 4AM and slept with me for the rest of the night this morning. he's been sleeping on the windowsill behind the curtains since Dan got here. as a result i woke up happier than i've been in weeks.

There are few things more enjoyable than your lady enjoying stuff that's usually outside of her listening. My wife was whistling These Arms Are Snakes tunes the other day. It was pretty awesome.

Totally had this the other day!
I'm selling a lot of gear to slim my board down to smaller number of simpler, good sounding pedals, and I'm really excited about what it's going to do for my playing, rather than acquiring pedals because they're cool.

DUDES. So I joined my local Y, and when you sign up you get 3 free "getting started" sessions with one of their trainers. First of all, the guy I got assigned to is named Conrad. I mean, really? CONRAD. You immediately know this guy is going to be awesome because his name is fucking CONRAD. After showing me how to use a bunch of the machines, he's like, "I'm running a spinning program at 7:30, you should come," and since it was CONRAD, I was like, sure, why not.
BEST DECISION EVER. So the spinning class is like, you ride exercise bikes in a group and the instructor guy tells you to go faster or increase your resistance or stand and pedal for a while because you're going up a hill or passing people or something. Thing is, there were like 10 people in the class, and they were all middle-aged women. Every single one. So it's 21-year-old me, CONRAD, and these middle aged women. The area of Boston I'm in is kind of borderline-suburbs, so about half of them were fat kinda ghetto divas and half of them were trophy wives/soccer moms who put on like 2 pounds since college and suddenly think they're fat. So they all go on and on about their kids and how dumb/fantastic their kids are and their middle-aged-women problems and OH GOD I MUST NOT LAUGH AT THESE PEOPLE WHO CAN BARELY PEDAL A BIKE. But the best part is that they play music to keep you motivated and stuff, and tonight was MOTOWN NIGHT. Motherfucking MOTOWN NIGHT. Like, Edwin Starr and Sam & Dave and stuff like that. I enjoyed it far more than I should have.
In retrospect, this was a long and non-entertaining post. Kinda had to be there, I guess. But dudes. Spinning class. SO MUCH UNEXPECTED FUN. If they keep playing Motown stuff I'll be there every time.
Spinning class sounds like somebody teaches you how to spin around in a circle to get exercise without getting dizzy and falling down. I had that picture in my head and it made me giggle.
Also, my friend is trashing Ron Paul on facebook and people are getting all fussy. It's funny. Ron Paul sucks nuts.
