Implied facepalm about how obvious it is that he literally just wants to read a newspaper all day?

To quit drinking, fullstop.

If at all. Hit borderline terror of death a few times this year. Too much Jameson. FAR too much Scotch, for it is an inferior drink.

I'm sure after that, everything else'll follow.
I play.

I don't have any resolutions as I have found (for me at least), they never are fulfilled. I do on the other hand have a handful of things I'd like to accomplish in my 30's since I'm turning 30 in July.

I've got more done in the first few years of my 30's than in my whole 20's. I stopped getting fucked up and I finally have started to get ahead.

Be less of a weirdo shut-in and make some friends, hopefully find someone nice and have a relationship, hey look it's the last 3 years' resolutions again. I'm so good at this.

Spend less money on pedals impulsively (still have a few cool things I plan on buying, just want to stop doing the old "hey I have a bit of money and that thing in B/S/T looks fun" quite as much).

Work harder to avoid failing everything.

I don't really have resolutions...
But in 2012... I would like.
-Find a gf.
-Play and record more music.
-Stop spending all my money on fuzz box and learn to use the one I got (experiment with them more).
-Travel a bit more.

I want to organize an ILFest Canada edition..............unfortunately I'm just a kid, and don't hold much power outside of the Ottawa area. I do know some guys who are pretty big around here (Mr. Fairfield's close friend)

i fulfilled my stupidly ambitious resolution from last year--i went from a size 50 pants to a size 40 pants--so this year i'm going to make it less ambitious... make it to a size 36 pants :)

aside from that... it's

1) save money
2) move to sf with girlfriend
3) restart the common men after we go on hiatus in march

For the first time ever, my goal is to loose weight...when I graduated from college, I was the same weight i had been at yhe end of highschool. One year later I got married and for the last two years since then I have gained like 20 lbs. Metabolism is slowing down I guess. Gotta lose that shit at least, if not build some actual muscle in the process.

I also want my lame-ass band to get back together and stop taking breaks for their wives to give birth. And I want my singer to stop sounding like Scott Stapp and to let our band get more noisy and experimental and not feel the need to put so many damn words in our songs. Is that too much to ask?

Finish writing for band. Get members and rehearse. Release music. Play live.

Go to Stockholm and meet new, more interesting people.

Not become content. Develop as a person.

Keep smoking.

Less white western male Kafka bullshit.

Play louder.

Become The Captain of The Sinking Ship.

Eat more fruit.
