its funny because accusing accusers of pseudo-intellectualism is itself pseudo-intellectual, particularly without anything to back it up. and thus begins the cycle of counter counter counter countering, etc.
i'm not stirring up trouble because i literally think Hitchens is an abhorrent human being and you all are overlooking very significant aspects of his character for the sake of glorifying the one or two points he had that you like. which is a completely biased, ignorant, and dishonest way to remember someone.
