I find this Alt-Rock cruise featuring Weezer, Dinosaur Jr., and Sebadoh to be the latest portent of the end times.

Nah, it's not the end times until we get the Lightning Bolt / Noxagt / Locust cruise. THEN we're in trouble... mostly because the bands will probably intentionally sink the boat in international waters.

apparently they're smarter at least than the jam band cruise which went to Jamaica, where the Kingston Police had a crew at the gangplank searching the punters when they went to re-board to the great sorrow of some participants. imagine a week on a cruise with String Cheese Incident and no drugs...Jesus. i'd throw MYSELF overboard into shark-infested waters.

A distant relative of mine just took the metal cruise. I was wondering if they did an alternative cruise as well. I'd do this. I don't think 25 is old, but I've always wanted to cruise and the chances of me having a meaningful conversation with a musician of fame is more likely on that vessel than at a festival. Dig?
