I liked it too. Not overly spicy, but definitely a Christmas/Winter beer.

Yeah, it's definitely right there at my spice threshold.

Exactly. One more drop of spice would be too much! I think I'm gonna pick up a 12er to drink with a certain carrot this weekend!

Had lunch with jrmy today and got the Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour. Really fucking good sour ale, if you're into that sort of thing. Which you should be. ;)

4-pack of Dogfishhead Immort Ale made me so happy.

now I'm drunk and slamming shots of leftover liquor and I'm bitter and angry.

Troeg's Mad Elf Ale is pretty all right.

belgian ale that kinda reminds me of delirium and the typical belgie quad.

I was at 3 Floyds Brewery earlier pounding a couple of pints that aren't commercially available. One was a IPA made with only New Zealand hops, and the other was a crazy ESB. Definately got a buzz on! :animal:

You fucks and your snobby beers. I'm enjoying a 12 pack of the beer that made Milwaukee famous tonight.

and I mean "you fucks" as a term of endearment.

Yeah man - that was the highlight of the day. I've gotta try more Sours. Though that porter I had that had been aged in a hops-infused cask (or whatever the heck they did to it) was mighty tasty...

Nom nom nom!

I picked up a 6 of Brooklyn Winter Ale for myself and some friends last night... not too shabby at all. Then kicked it with some Pretty Things Baby Tree. Pretty darned good evening!
