Yeah, I like maybe a half dozen of their songs, spread out over what, 5 albums now? Not that impressive of a ratio. They're not the worst band out there, but they definitely didn't change my life.

And NONE of their songs are difficult to play. I'll give him a little bit of credit that he has opened up a whole lot of people to fx on bass that would never have entertained the idea. Also, fun tip!

To anyone that has played a Xerograph Deluxe (and thus, loved it, naturally), you may find yourself torn between setting it to be used for big synthy sweeps, and setting it to be all envelopy-quacky (basically, where to set the SENS knob) - I have a solution! If you stick a volume pedal after your dirt but before the Xero and fine-tune it, you can have both! Or at least be a little closer. This VPjr I picked up has been surprisingly VERY handy for numerous applications! I keep it in my feedback loop as well, to tame the feedbackingness.

yah. lately outside of checking the PYPB and Coming And Going threads i don't do much over there.

if i want to talk to lifers that know a lot about running all IME's and a 4 string Fender into a SVT or hear somebody condescend to me because PLUGGING STRAIGHT IN IS THE WAY TO DO BASSSSSS then it's a GREAT place to go.
