Just picked this up today 1981 Honda 400 Bobber. :!!!:

microphone brake light, what?!??!!??

a little more to be done on monday, then she is good to go. This being my first actual motor cycle (fucked with scooters for a small time), I'm hoping to learn a lot. Here goes nothing.

I'm adding a front brake, needs a new ignition, and there is a slight crack that I need to replace on one of the intake plastic pieces. Should have that all done later today.

I'm with you on the seat, but that microphone ain't going anywhere. I have no idea what aesthetic the guy customizing it before i bought it was going for, Vegas :idk:

Got the front brake installed and a new ignition switch. Dumbass who wired it up before basically the push switch always hot so you could still the bike just not shut it off unless you let out the clutch. :picard:

Having trouble idling, so this weekend I get to tear off the carbs and clean them. On top of that, the choke isn't working, so when I get the carbs off I can see why it isn't twisting.

I found the 300+ page shop manual in pdf form for free online, so I should be in good hands. :dance:

I keep updating this while I figure this bike out.
