It goes back, kind of. The Legislative branch votes to override the veto, but you need way more votes...

It's easy to do (sensationalize) as I'm sure that a lot of dissenting voices could be silenced with the suspension of Habeas Corpus and with the amount of protesting going in this country right now,....I'm not very inclined to trust the intentions of our leadershit.

The only reason that Obama is going to veto the bill is because it doesn't grant him ENOUGH power to detain whoever the fuck he wants. He doesn't want there to be ANY rules or restraints on his power to do that whatsoever, and that is the reason for his promised veto. It certainly isn't for reasons that we would consider just and good.
