Those Joyo EQ's can be had on eBay for around the $60 region. They seem well built, based on the MXR I believe.

Mmmmm. Looks right up my alley and is much cheaper than the Empress. The only problem with ones like the Joyo, MXR, Danelectro, etc is that they're fixed. They sound great but just not what I'm looking for a main rig. Boosting 100hz/200hz, however loud won't get me where I want unfortunatelyz ;( There is the Boss Bass G-EQ which has 120hz? I could try that but yeahzzz we'll scope it out. I blame my strings -.- fat strings for a fatty ^.^
