Same.

In high school I got high, which actually focused my attention. I probably was doing it wrong.

I don't really have a 9-5,as I get paid to go to school. So I only have 2 classes a day,M-F. In class,I pay close attention, and even participate. I stay on top of my studies. Between classes,I have quite a bit of free time. So I usually go down to the car, read, hit the one-hitter,and listen to music. Puts me in the perfect frame of mind for my next class. I like my schedule :)

Watch TV at work.
Read textbooks, listen to music, or browse the web at uni.
I'm pretty shit at both.

The stuff I did was so mind blowing, I loved it. If I could afford it, I'd go back and do more.

When I was in High School I'd skip at least a few classes every day. If I went I'd either sleep or read a book in class.

During college, I'd go to class but I had so much work outside of them that I'd often fall asleep in class even though I tried not to. When I was awake though I paid attention and did my work. I managed to graduate a year early so it worked out.

In my full time job I do my work, but spread it out so that I don't end up with nothing to do for a few days at a time. In the downtime I read news and science articles, go on ILF, and do work for my side jobs.

During my side jobs I am 100% focused and diligent in my work.

i have lots of down time at work. when i'm creative/productive, i'll work on music in Reason on my laptop. when i'm not creative, but still productive, i'll try to learn things from the internet. lately, it's been how to use excel more effectively than whoever designed the worksheets i have to use at my job. it helps if i can feel competitive. christ, i am boring.
please and thank you.

While at work I have no time to be bored. I'm either working or working,...or flirting with the hot servers while I'm working.

I'm on my laptop in every class that allows them. I maintain a very respectable GPA, even in a semester like this where all my classes are so boneheaded and dull that I never pay attention.

yeah, general education classes.

right now, i have ancient civilizations humanities (lame, kinda cool though so i try and pay attention), art history (all my professor talks about is when he visited italy to look at art, and everything we have to do for tests and papers and shit is out of the book, he doesn't even talk about it), anthropology (the teacher for the past week and a half brought in guest speakers for no reason) and business (the dude doesn't know how to teach a class and our tests are open book)
So this turned into another devi thread...

I'm in my second year of college/university and I've only taken 1 class that wasn't a general education requirement.

I dunno, I really like my classes and I'm a dork so I pay attention. High school was a different story though, the majority of my time was spent looking at hot dudes (substitute ladies for dewdz if that's your thing) and trying to tame unruly boners before having to stand up.

I'm in my car 99% of the time at work, so awesome music works pretty well as a means of entertainment.

I hate it when people have their laptops out in class and aren't taking notes, it makes it really hard to pay attention. If you don't want to listen to a lecture, just show up on test days or when assignments are due and stay home the rest of the time.

If you're forced to be there because of roll-call or something you can just spend the hour paying attention. In those gen-ed courses if you just pay attention and take notes in class there's a good chance you'll never have to read the book/buy the book/study outside of class, which leaves you a lot more time for interwebbing and money for fuzz when you're not in class.

One thing I did quite a bit when I was bored in high school was force myself to hallucinate. You stare at one spot/thing that's not moving and blink as little as possible, eventually things in your periphery start doing crazy shit.
