I've always had female bros... i've had way more female bros than bro bros... However, since i've joined college and turned my relationship to a long distance, i'Ve been experiencing sexual attraction to a few of my new friends...

and that's why being in a long distance relationship kinda sucks

oh yeah and i'm expecting feelings to jump on me, too... i'm stupid like that... so what did you want to know exactly?

I see your problem... you know i've also feel more comfortable with hoes than with bros.... they were always more close to me and we just click on a friendship level

but i think that if you don't crate a serious affection towards any of them, sexual frustration can be dealt with... you just hang on there and from my experience after some time they're going to be mainly friends for you, too close to fuck with

if you do however, i step back, i don't have any advice for those moments... i've never known how to deal with that myself

I'm a little bit inlove with one of my best friends, but I've learned to accept that it probably won't happen. I just don't tell her, and got used to the idea of her with other people. :idk:

It's a bummer, but friends are important.

Talk about their relationships early on, and kinda often. That way, you'll get used to the idea. So even if you have feelings, it won't bother you so much.

I have a close female friend like that. Possibly a few odd moments when the whole "could this be more" question sort of just appears in a general conversations about love/relationships and there's momentary awkwardness. It's a bit weird* that she's on her 2nd serious (not like marriage serious) boyfriend since we became good friends, and I already was or became good friends with both of those too. Her current one and I started a band. I dunno, both of us being pretty feminist might have made us both want it to be possible to have a platonic reletionship and not confirm a bunch of gender stereotypes (speculation).

Dudes generally have more of a problem with this than girls (<-psychology has tested this).

*I don't mean weird between the two of us, but a weird thing because at least when she has a new relationship the two of us are a whole lot closer than they are and it's a bit odd for the "new guy". I was there to talk about the breakup with her after the dude before who was also an old friend of mine. It becomes this "talking on a level above current relationships" thing where dudes (one dude) have come and gone so it's this meta perspective thing.

I've had plenty of female friends over the years, and one by one fallen in love with all of them. Then I get over it and we stay as close as ever. I think it's easy to misappropriate feelings, especially if you've been single a while. I think the most important thing is to be careful not to resent them for your feelings, something I have found myself doing without realising it. If they're a close friend, remind yourself of how important the friendship is, as well as the fact that the relationship you want with them probably wouldn't work out the way you imagine...

At one time or another I was pretty in love with both of my closest female friends, and I actually told them both but they just weren't interested, and then I got over it and we're really close. Was probably awkward for a while straight after both times, but I can't remember that, and can remember years of friendship.

I guess what I'm saying is maybe if you do get feelings for a friend, tell them? If they're a really good friend it'll all be cool in the end, could be something you laugh about later. Unless you like go ott and go all melodrama cantlivewithoutyou probably, but then that's always a bad idea.

Yeah, this. Other than my wife and my buddies' wives, my closest female friend is a girl I've known for almost 15 years at this point, I met her freshman year in college. I did have feelings for her early on, and told her so. She shot me down, but gently, and then I just let it go. We're really close friends now and it's all cool. :thumb:

THIS TIMES A BILLION

I grew up with two sisters and no brothers, so I kind of get along with women pretty well. I have tons of girls that are really good friends because nothing turns into a pissing match with them like it does with guys. You can go to a restaurant and not have eating competitions and you can talk to them about stuff and not get made fun of. idk, I have guy friends, but sometimes you just have to have female friends. Its kinda like that movie "I love you man", I mean, I have a few really close bro friends, but I find it way easier to make new friends with girls and most of my friends in college are girls.

The only thing that really sucks is when you meet a girl and you're trying to hit on her, and your female friends cock block you. Rage like this has never been seen before

Also, if you have hot female friends, you can get into way more stuff than if you're with a bunch of guys.
So this turned into another devi thread...

My best friend is a girl. If things don't work out with each of our relationships we'll sleep together. We've talked about it. We're just friends though so long as I have a girlfriend and she has a boyfriend.

This.

Also, if you're in a group of friends, dating friend is the shittiest thing you can do. When you break up(an you WILL) you will keep seeing each other and won't be able to make a clean break which so many dumb, codependent people already have trouble with. I've seen this happen so many times. It's like watching a 30 car pile up sliding slowly into a babies anus over the course of several months, if not, years. One giant  :picard:

It's easier for me to just be friends with you imaginary people on the internet.
