I just don't get soup. I mean if you're going to eat something, eat it. Or drink something - drink it. But why do you have to liquidize food??? (by blending, or adding water?). Does it quench your thirst?? Now if there's a slab of some noisily crusty bread to eat with it... now you're talking.

I know I'm weird.
I accept your opinion and would like to humbly inform you that you are incorrect.

I agree that straight soup by itself is kind of icky for its liquidness. It has to have bread or crackers, unless it is of sufficient thickness to be considered a stew. If you consider chili a soup/stew, though, that has to come with tortilla chips or some other variety of breadstuffs. Chili by itself has always been gross to me for some reason.

Agreed. This is why stew is better.
