That's my day too! :yay: From the 2 hours I played last night (when I did zero quests and just wandered around for ages), I love it. The new perk thing makes it less dumbed down from morrowind than I thought it would be, dual wielding is rad, and it's just soooooooooo pretty.

Game runs SURPRISINGLY GOOD on PC. It's really smooth. It feels like the game is actually optimized well.
People aren't ugly as FUCK. Voices seem okay as well, no more "Can ye spare a bit o' coin for a poor old beggar?" and when you say something to her she suddenly has the voice of a teenage girl. At least, not that I've seen yet.
Animations are much improved.

Christ I can't believe how much better this is than Oblivion/Oblivion With Guns/Oblivion With Guns: New Vegas and I only have a few hours into it. I am comfortable making that judgment. It's like a different company made this one.

Definitely. Recommended spec is a quad core processor, but I'm running it on high graphics settings with a dual core and it's super smooth, it runs great. The character models look really quite nice, although some of the voices are kinda stupid, but I can deal. The animations of deer and stuff are really amazing, they look a lot more like real animals running around.

Holy shit, I found the final boss already.

Image

She's the barmaid of Riverwood, it's west of the starting area. I had to reduce the pic size but there are like 8 arrows in her head. She will tear you up.
Her bow does 20% per shot and if you get too close she instantly slices and then executes you with her tiny knife.

This all started because I used a spell to turn all the townsfolk against each other...she is the only survivor. I'll come back and kill her later.
I died 10+ times trying to take her out...she just heals if you get her low enough.

Picked up my copy a little while ago, won't get a chance to play until later tonight when I got off work though. The next few hours are going to go by real slow.

 I got attacked by some "hired thug" guys and they completely destroyed me till I ran away. Climbing up mountain and looking around the land is just guhhhhhh so nice. They've done this so well, it looks friggin amazing, and the draw distance is great, and it runs fine on high graphics on my (pretty good but doesn't even meet the recommended settings) PC.

I know, I'm constantly amazed at how well this thing runs. My video card is really handicapping my system, so I can only run it on mostly medium/low settings but with a high framerate, and it still looks pretty good.
