given the context, i can't resist pointing out the irony quotient. i think this is the 4th time since i've been aware of the Devi forum that it's been killed, and that's since like last August or September (of 2010). i assume that like Lazarus or the zombie horde, it'll rise from the dead and be back again by Christmas. :idk:

It hasn't been terribly active. Social aspects aside, Devi makes some of the best fuzzes out there, and she isn't afraid of taking risks. Many of the ILF builders have had close-ish relationships with Devi. She is the one that started ILF. I guess it's just trendy to bash her.

The Soda Meiser, Torns Peaker, and 33 are some of the best fuzzes made by anybody, anytime.

Although her relationship with the community is iffy; you can't deny the fuzzness.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, God said, "Let there be Lips!" And there were, and they were good, and the lips said...

Yep. Thing that got to me was all the talk about how forums are so mean and petty and have so many rules and stuff early on, but here everyone's pretty accepting and devi's welcome, when she flips out and comes back pretty much everyone is cool, and nobody's dickish or anything. Forums don't have to be cliquey and hostile, and this one at least isn't. I haven't been around long enough to see the start/devi doing all the stuff she did in the past or whatever, but it all seems cool.

I guess that would explain why she's posting here more now and given up on her own forum. Whatever, I don't even know anything I'm just saying stuff.

^I never got the impression that anyone really hated her pedals or anything, at least here from what i've seen, people can disconnect her actual pedals from her erratic online behaviour. I can think she has great pedals and also be confused by how she puts herself across online. :idk:

Much love for the crazy cat(s?).

This times a billion. She makes great stuff, and that's the part I like to focus on

but for the record, I was enjoying that jazz music :idk:
