And the pedal itself would become known as the Iron Ether Airplanes and Glitter, simply by virtue of the control layout.

Build time was longer than originally quoted, due to various issues with putting together a stupid concept idea.

As for the control labels, the Awesome control is obviously a TB reference, as is the Sloppy knob, for those who remember back a few years. Master Exploder is a Tenacious D reference. Gaudiness, Glitter and Sparkles are for people who used to frequent the Unnofficial Talkbass Chat. The Hob knob is to make me chuckle. Snakes, Ladders and Aeroplanes is a song title from my band, as is Geekk.

One of the best-looking pedals I've seen in a long while! Have been wanting to try one for a while, can't wait!
Cheers to Tom for excellent customer service too! :)

Well, it looks like my KOT is now going on the market... to make way for this:

Funnily enough I found out about it in person rather than online. There's probably like 10-20 max in AU and I got to try out all three of the big ones and this was by far my favourite! It killed all my other ods, secret sauces and anything else I could throw at it. They're super expensive but I figure if I make enough off the KOT I can definitely get one. It sounded so good running just on it's ownsome! So so so juicy. The KOTv4 imo is the ultimate stack pedal but it just never had enough guts to drive my First Lady. So hopefully I can run the Kingsley on it's own at home/off the board and be super happeh and use my OD3 out as that's good enough. I just feel as if the KOT is a waste in my possession as I use it a la TGP'ers use a $1,000 KLON "as a clean boost". I have only 2 od pedals, rest are fuzz, so I'd like some form of OD coming out of them at one point or another.

FUCK I'M ALMOST OUT OF BREATH FROM HAVING TO JUSTIFY MY PEDAL OBSESSIONS (haha don't you love that/I'm sure you do it too yaaaaaaaaaa' dodgy karnt). Anyway I'm super psyched to finally take the plunge into official cork-sniffer territory and take it well. It'll probably be the only Kingsley you'll ever see coupled with Small Sound Big Sound fuzzes :idk: :yay:

The Klon I had for a while sounded fucking great. Not even close to worth recent asking prices, but great nonetheless.

ha, I'm sure that will be the case. In my case, I have the dough, and I want to see what the fuss is all about - how much is hype, how much is real.

on the other hand, two of my all-time favorite players who run similar rigs to mine - Lee Ranaldo and Ripley Johnson - both use the Klon.
Supposedly it's the humbucker + blackface magic sauce, and that's what I'm using these days. We shall see...
Maybe partying will help.
