RE: Italia straps. I actually had an email in my inbox from cindi@italiastraps. They are having a "private sale". I got clued into those special deals and subsequently onto their mailing list by stumbling across a "private sale" in the Talkbass Bazaar subforum. The deal is two 2.5" straps in some of the nicer colorways for $55.
