Looking for Sweet Guitar Shops/Studios in Central NJ

Post by veteransdaypoppy »

Hey all :)*
Was wondering if anybody knew of any groovy-ass guitar shops or recording studios in Central Jersey, around the New Brunswick/Edison area or just Central Jersey in general.
I'm looking to get a part-time job and well, discounts rule. Audio engineering also rules.

Don't recommend Prymaxe. I ditched that place. :whateva:
well i guess, but i just don't know.

Have you been there yo? I e-mailed them about a job and they asked for my resume but I was skeptical. Place seems a little odd on the website so I'm hesitant.

I've been there a handful of times. Great selection, but VERY small/cramped store. The owner is very VERY Mid-Westernly nice/awkward. The online selection of guitars actually mirrors what they have in store, which is pretty rare for a small local shop.

There's a Sam Ash in Edison on Route 27. I bought a ton of shit there in the past, it's a big one. And it's right next to an adult toy shop, for your convenience.

And oh yeah, an even cooler store, Lou Rose, another 2-3 miles past it. I bought my '65 Ludwig kit there.
