people splitting up is never a happy occasion. a couple splitting who have been together that long is even sadder. i wish them both peace and healing...they're going to need it.

I've seen them a few times myself, but...sad shit is sad. I just wish the best for both of them.

Maaaan, that's a downer. Splitting up after 27 years of marriage must be pretty bad. Sonic Youth were always consistently pretty rad, it'd be a shame if they quit, but I can see why they would.

I've honestly never listened to Sonic Youth... mayhaps I should check it out.

Of course, that would mean I'd be sad that they could be breaking up...
