Music shops in Raleigh?

Post by CBGB »

Anyone know of any good music shops in Raleigh NC? Good pedals, second hand amps and guitars - that sort of thing. Hoping to be there next week...

Cheers - cb

Lived in Raleigh for the last 7 years. There's some decent shops there. Fat Sound Music in Cary (high end stuff, some cool pedals), Harry's Guitar Shop in Raleigh (nice people and shop, some used gear, some effects), Indoor Storm in Raleigh (they do a ton of online business, some cool stuff in the shop, mostly drum stuff though), Conn Signment Music in Raleigh (sometimes some awesome used high-end basses, used guitars-usually not that great, sweeeeet head shop though and cool guy).

Honestly though, I've found some killer used gear at both Guitar Center and Sam Ash in Raleigh which are right across from each other on Capital Blvd.

Hope this isn't too late and that it helps.

Cheers!
