it is the only one of the boss pedals that works for me really really good. catching some stuff with the teaspoon, pitching it and looping it with the slicer is amazing (and fun)

This is what has always made me rethink buying one...I'm never sure about it.

I'm sure if I had more of a setup to integrate it into I could've found more uses for it, but when it first came out, using it stand alone I could never tweak it to really get the sounds that I was going for.

Of course, my go-to setup right now is Bass>Singing Tree>Grey 'Stache>Amp, so I doubt I'd have any more success.

No. I'm on place 23 and that may take 6 weeks according to the manufacturer. So 4 more to wait...

what else would be able to get this? could you do it with an eq and just take out certain frequencies?

And kind of band pass filter, properly applied, could do that.

I guess a Para EQ would do it.
There is also the Heavy Electronics Radio Havana which is a fuzzy kind of AM radio sound.
And I think WMD Geiger Counter have a setup that is similar to AM radio too.
