Revolutionary Guitars/ideas that work
ok so we all know that the Firebird X sucks soggy donky nards, but what about new stuff that hits the mark and adds functionality to guitar in a simple intuitive way.
my example is the Vox Virage series and their toggle system as well as the digital manufacturing process, which is really neat. just played two today, and i loved 'em, and it was easy to use too. go figure, gibson.
so what guitars/products out there do you guys think do something new, and you could actually see becoming a regular feature on guitars in the future?

I heard this dude Leo Fender is gonna make an electric bass. Shit'll change everything.
Actually, it won't, 'cause it won't sound like an upright at all. What an idiot.

Rickenbacker 481, not the best picture to demonstrate the slanted frets that help with lead work, but that picture is of my Rickenbacker 481 and I never miss a chance to show it off. The idea is debatable how well it helps out, but it was a time where Rickenbacker was still innovating. Love my Ricks.
Also, the Moog guitar barring the supposed shitty normal guitar sound makes my pants all tight.

it doesn't look like the frets are slanted in that picture :0
and yeah, the moog guitar is sexy sex
also i think you might be the only person i know who has even implied that he touches a fret past the 12th on a rickenbacker

Are those slanted or fanned frets?

I don't think the concept is all that new but I think multi-scale guitars are a great idea and I'd love to try one someday

This may sound insane, but what if we put an extra string on the guitar...just wait for it...on top!...That's right an extra A string. Downtuning can suck a dick.
I want to see more momentary footswitches on effects, like a super regenerating slapback. Or maybe some kind of octave fuzz.

I think the Mustang is the most complicated the guitar should have gotten.
